Our faith tells us that the Word of God is alive and transforms our hearts. We hear the Word of God read at each Mass and in the homily the presider brings the Word to us. The Children’s Liturgy of the Word bring the Scriptures alive. During the 9:00AM Mass, children between Kindergarten and Grade 2 are sent forth from Mass to review and study the readings at a level that they can understand. The children return to Mass for the Liturgy of the Eucharist.
All that is required is some patience and understanding of small children. Training is provided and Archdiocesan Virtus training is required.
