Jesus told his disciples, “Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.” (Matthew 28:19-20)
At Baptism, we are welcomed into the larger Christian community of believers. The Baptismal Preparation Team helps prepare new parents for the baptism of their child and to be a support for new parents as they begin to raise their child in the Roman Catholic Tradition. Members generally lead a baptismal preparation session twice a year and the sessions last about an hour.
