In the City of Chicago, an announcement regarding the closing of Chicago Catholic Schools will be made over Chicago radio and TV stations:

Should it be necessary for St. Cajetan School to close due to extremely local weather conditions, the announcement will be made over radio stations:

On days of below zero weather, parents should determine whether or not their child/children should attend school. You may call 312-222-SNOW and enter the school phone number 773-233-8844 to determine if school will be closed.

In the event it is necessary to close school for any other emergency:
|
|
- Mrs. Reger will call teachers;
- Teachers will call room mothers;
- Room mothers will call family messengers in the homeroom for
- which they are responsible.
